Hello club members:
For 20 years, I brewed ales, lagers, hard cider, stouts, root beer, etc., on this home fabricated system. Sadly, it has been languishing for the last several years on my condo balcony and is now in my Templeton barn. It needs significant love to return it to its former glory. (Challenge? Opportunity?) But it has good bones.
The up-side is that I am offering it to an interested Wines and Steins club member absolutely free, and will even throw in my support and system understanding to help you bring it back to life. I historically hit over 90% mash efficiency with this system.
The systems consists of:
Mash Tun; Lauder Tun, Boil Kettle, piping, boil-side heat exchanger, wheeled stand. I also have some miscellaneous supplies I will throw in as well.
It is my hope that someone with mechanical legerdemain and an interest in brewing will take up the challenge and give my system a new home. A file picture is attached of the system in its heyday.
