Silver River Vineyards: The Science, Art, and Next Generation of Winemaking

Discover Silver River Vineyards, a small family owned vineyard and winery in San Miguel, in the Paso Robles wine region. Winemaker Nicole Flores will share how the science and art of winemaking come together in Silver River’s wines, and how a new generation of winemakers brings fresh ideas to time honored traditions.

At the heart of Silver River are three areas of focus: vineyard, wine, and education, connecting thoughtful farming, expressive wines, and opportunities to learn and explore.

From vineyard practices to the stories behind the Silent Service wines and their distinctive labels, Nicole will introduce the people, place, and creativity that give Silver River its character. With a special focus on carbonic maceration, she will explore how this technique can reveal vibrant fruit aromas and softer textures, opening new possibilities for familiar grapes. Her talk offers an engaging introduction to Silver River Vineyards, its wines, and the curiosity that inspires each bottle.
