Membership Meeting June 2nd, 2023, 6:00 PM American Legion Hall, 805 S. Main St., Templeton CA
At our upcoming June meeting, Rebecca Chapman and Heather Mikelonis of Baker Wine & Grape Analysis will discuss basic wine testing. The presentation will focus on juice and wine analysis reports with common ranges for each analyte with the goal of understanding crucial chemistry in winemaking. Next, the distinction between troubleshooting, sensory, and wine stylizing will be discussed to help take your wine to the next level using simple fixes and modifications. A sample wine will be presented with a walk-through evaluation.
We ask that you bring a bottle of wine or beer and substantial appetizer or dish to share, as well as your plates, glasses and utensils. Tables will be set up as usual so that we can socialize while we eat.
