Monthly Membership Meeting - September 7th

Program September 7th, 2018

Following our August meeting of award-winning wine makers, we recognize local olive oil entrepreneurs.  Jerry and Caroline Shaffer of Fandango Olive Oil (www.fandangooliveoil.com) have 86 awards to their credit in the last 8 years for their "liquid gold in a bottle".  With a Paso Robles orchard of Spanish Arbequina and Greek Koroneicki olives, the Shaffers will present the farming techniques and a tasting of their blends of local olive oils.  They will also offer tastes of customized Modena Italy balsamic vinegars.  Products will be available for purchase.

We will have a brief business meeting. Please contact President Mike Ferree (emailmchferr4@aol.com) if you have an item for discussion.

The popular 50:50 raffle will be conducted by Leslie Cruzen.

Dinner: Please bring a dish to share (6+ servings) – Appetizer, Salad, Side dish, Main dish, Dessert

Beverage: Please bring a bottle to share at the open bar table.  If you can spare an extra bottle for our equipment storage unit trade, it would be much appreciated.

Guests: Members are encouraged to bring guests and potential new members.
