Wines & Steins 2014-2015

Dear Wines and Steins Friends:

Join us this Friday, January 9th @ 6:00 p.m. for our monthly Membership Meeting!

The speaker for our January meeting will be Sherrie Holzer, Assistant Winemaker for Castoro Cellars whose presentation will be "Balancing your Wine." More specifically; balancing the tannins, alcohol, sugar, and acid of your wine, especially before bottling. To demonstrate the subject, she intends to bring some samples of "unbalanced" wines so we can all understand what unbalanced wines actually taste like!

*Welcome new people to our club! Introduce yourself & invite them to join you.

*Guests are welcome & great way to introduce others to our club. Invite someone you know.
*Everyone bring wine &/or beer for our

tasting table. Bring extra if you want a bottle on your dinner table.

*Potluck means everyone is expected to bring a

favorite dish to share. If you bring guests, please

bring an extra dish & don't forget your table

settings & glasses.

Please provide one of the following:

Appetizers- last names starting w/ A-C
Entrees & Side dishes- last names starting w/ D-P
Desserts- last names starting w/ Q-Z

6:00-6:30 Welcome - all check in @ front door table

6:30-7:15 Business & Presentation-grab one more glass & be seated for the information period of our meeting.

7:15-7:30 BBQ time/ Food prep.& ready on serving tables.

7:30- Dinner line opens-please allow our speakers to start the line. Then eat & visit @ your leisure, clean your area as you finish. Leave your table & chairs until..... 9:30 start collective clean up!
