    Are you looking for GRAPES?

    Look no further than this wonderful opportunity in Mendocino County.

    CCOF (Certified Organic) Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and

    Petite Sirah grapes from Redwood Valley in Mendocino County.

    The Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel vines were planted in 1990.  The older block of Petite Sirah was planted in 2000; and the younger block of Petite Sirah was planted in 2017.

    The anticipated harvest is generally October 1-10 for the Petite Sirah, October 7-20 for the Zinfandel, and October 20 to November 5 for the Cabernet Sauvignon.  Of course these dates are dependent on field tests.

    The vineyard is between 800 and 850 feet in elevation located on the eastern high bench of Redwood Valley.  The vineyard receives full afternoon sun.  The high daytime temperatures contribute to sugar development; the low nightime temperatures, often 40º-50º cooler than daytime temperatures, tend to bring the acids in the fruit into balance with the sugar content.  The higher acids of coastal county red vineyards are highly sought after by warmer climate wineries to add depth and  complexity to the lower acidity of their wines.

    Cost per ton varies depending on the quantity of grapes desired and other options including:

    Quantity desired;

    Whether Self-picked or owner-picked;

    If owner-picked, will grapes be packed and shipped;

    Whether crushed on site or crushed at winemaker’s location.

    Target Prices are:

    $2,200 per ton for Cabernet Sauvignon

    $2,100 per ton for Zinfandel

    $2,000 for Petite Sirah

    Subject to negotiation based upon the above options.

    No minimum purchase required
