Wines and Steins Membership Meeting

We'll have a busy night November 1st.  Stewart McLennan, Co-Founder of the Garagiste Festival will be here to speak to us.   Stewart spent 30 years as a professional actor then started making wine after retiring. That was 19 vintages ago.  A resident of Templeton, he has a radio show that airs on Krush 92.5 called the Garagiste Show.

GARAGISTES – (garage-east) n, Fr. – A term originally used in the Bordeaux region of France to denigrate renegade small-lot wine makers, sometimes working in their garage, who refused to follow the “rules.” Now a full-fledged movement responsible for making some of the best wine in the world.

And then... IT'S QUIZ NIGHT!

Always popular with our members, this time we will have a dozen or so questions about our Wines and Steins club, beer, and wine, including a few blind wine tasting opportunities.  Winner will receive a truly wonderful, if inexpensive, prize. Don’t miss this and the enjoyment of appetizers, wine, beer and socializing.

Please bring a hearty appetizer and a bottle of wine per person or a six-pack of beer to share
