Congratulations to our Wine Game Night winners at February’s Meeting!
Johnna DeBellis took first place with the highest number of correct responses to 30 questions in the Wine Quiz. Eight people correctly identified one of the three varietals in a blind tasting. Mary Andrews was selected as the winner by a drawing. Mike Ferree calculated the number of corks in a container with a mathematical formula, but Mike Victorino came closer to the proper number with his educated guess.
…and speaking of blind tastings, you can test your taste buds at our
March 1 meeting
WE'RE HAVING A BLIND WINE TASTING EVENT!
We will have tables set up for these varietals: Viognier, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Here's how it works:
* If a couple want to sit at the same table to taste the same varietal bring only one bottle of wine.
There will be no potluck dinner at this meeting - instead please bring a hearty appetizer and perhaps a bottle of wine to share.
We’ll meet at the American Legion Hall, starting at 6 PM. Click here for the meeting Address, Agenda, and What to Bring. https://winesandsteins.org/Monthly-Meetings
Thanks in advance to our hosts Mike and Cat Victorino and co-hosts Patricia Watters and Richard Lashbrook.
Guests are welcome!
