John Anderson -- St. Hilaire Vineyard and Winery has 600-700 lbs. of Orange Muscat for sale.  $900 per ton U pick at 23 Brix now.  He will help pick if you bring at least 3 people to harvest.  He has picking trays, knives, and clippers for you to use.  Makes a great late harvest.  Call John at 441-3824 if interested.

I have 2 small plots on the property I call my "play vineyards". These grapes are for
for me to make my own wine. They are farmed at the same time we do everything
else, like fungicide sprays, shoot thinning, drip fertilization(3),fruit thinning, leaf
nutrient sprays(3),etc. I'm going to have surplus grapes this year, in fact every year
from this time forward. I'm looking to enter into an ongoing relationship with a home-
winemaker to pick up any of the fruit I'm not using on a year-to-year basis. What's
available from year-to-year will change. If there is a down side to this, it's each
variety yields about 250 lbs.  I use 50 liter barrels(13.2 gal.) and get about 17.5 gal.
per variety. If you make larger lots, the varieties could be blended to get any volume
         you might be looking for.
The varieties I have include Syrah, Cab., Zin., Merlot, Petite Sirah, Petite Verdot,
Cab. Franc, Malbec, Charbono,Sauv. Blanc, Verdelho, a little bit of Marsanne, and
Roussanne, Viognier and 4 Portuguese Port varieties. I'm only going to use the
Petite Sirah , Charbono and Verdelho this year, so everything else is up for grabs.
I'm asking for $ 1500 per ton to offset labor and farming costs as listed above.
If you are interested or you know of any other home-wine makers that might be,
have them get in touch with me.
                                       Thanks,
                                                     Jim Allen

I have approximately 1500 lbs. of 2017 Zinfandel available. I had another large crop this year and have filled my normal winery buyer as well as myself and a few others, but still have some on the vines. These are professionally managed, trellised vines located in the Paso Robles Adelaida sub-AVA. Winemakers have won multiple gold medals from wine produced from these grapes. These are Devor clone on 1103P rootstalk. I am looking for $.80/lb. and I can be reached at 805 712-8810 or at kaweahsrun@gmail.com if you are interested.

This would be u-pick with my assistance. Any amount is OK - it doesn't have to be the entire lot. Brix on August 30 was 20, so expect mid September harvest.

    Thanks, Bill Livingston

My wife and I moved to Paso about a year ago. The property we purchased has a small vineyard that is about 15 years old. It includes about 250 vines (85% Zin, 15% Petite Sirah) producing a little over a barrel of wine each year.

The person who has been making the wine for years has reached a point where he needs to retire from it. As I am not able to take it on myself, I am wondering if someone might want to take over the vines and wine making.

If so, please email me at terry@terryarmstrong.biz or call me at 301-273-5252.

This year, we'll have approx. 2000 lbs. of Sangiovese and  1000 lbs. of Merlot grapes.  The vineyard is located on a hill in Paso Robles and is manicured and sustainable. The Merlot should be ready to pick in early September and the Sangiovese two/three weeks later.  The price is $ 0.75/lb.  We'll help you pick.

A new family moved into the neighborhood on property that has about 1/4 acre of Bordeaux grapes.  He knows nothing about grapes or winemaking.  The grapes are available and he only asks that you provide him with some of the wine.  His name is Michael Matteis. Call him weekends at (650) 280-2714.  Give him my name as a neighbor..
