    Dear Members and Guests,

Many of you asked Linda Galano for her  Fried Zucchini recipe served at our February 2017 meeting.  She was gracious to share it with us:

6 to 8 Italian Zucchini, rinse and cut ends off
Slice not too thick or too thin lengthwise.
Whisk 5-6 eggs with salt and pepper.  Cover each zucchini piece with flour. Shake off excess, dip in egg mixture, and fry in olive oil on medium to medium high heat  until brown.  Flip over then lay on paper towels. Add a little more salt and pepper and parmigiano cheese.

    Hello Friends of Atascadero Lake,

If you have not had an opportunity to take a walk or drive around Atascadero Lake, please do so. It is filling fast. We could actually have a full lake by the time summer rolls around. If you remember last summer we had a very bad algae problem. LakeFest 2017, May 20th is our main fundraising opportunity to raise money for a state of the art aeration system for the lake. This will help cut down on the algae.

We still need volunteers to make this a successful event. Right now we do not have enough folks stepping up to help to even put on the event. May is right around the corner. Our next LakeFest meeting in Monday January 16th, 4:00 pm at the home of Don Lynge. Address: 9040 Mountain View.

Or call me, Nancy Hair, (805) 674-3850 for more information.
