   Carmel Valley Backroads Adventure
                               (Dates and Details to follow)

Looking for a cool break from Paso Robles weather at the end of Summer? Join new and old friends along the backroads of neighboring Monterey County to experience Summer fog’s effect on grapes. Take off from Highway 101 North at Greenfield to wind through verdant fields, explore Mission San Antonio de Padua, or stop at one of the small communities along the way for a snack.

Carmel Valley is about 2 hours or 100 miles north of Paso Robles. Wines and Steins will offer an educational tour at a local winery or two, selected from the twenty or more wineries and tasting rooms located in the valley. (If you have a favorite winery, please let Patricia Watters ( know.)

This will be a DIY adventure. You can make this a day-trip or overnight at Carmel to continue your journey. Perhaps thrifting at the Carmel Valley Community Chapel Benefit Shop, wandering through the Monterey Aquarium, or catching a classical music concert?

Watch your email for more information about this fun and educational get-away.
